DIY Mask for a Masquerade

I love a party with good friends and a cold beverage. :) I attended my first Masquerade Birthday Party a few days ago, and I had to complete my semi-formal attire with a mask. I didn't own a mask, so I decided to draw one with my handy dandy Sephora liquid liner. I was pretty darn excited! I got to combine two of my favorites: dress up and makeup.

How did I make this complexity? First, I followed the contours of my face with Sephora Liquid Liner in Black to highlight my cheekbones and eyes. Then, I added the border of the mask. I added half circles around the border to give it more of an appearance of a mask. I added a jewel with a drop in the middle above the mask. Lastly, I filled the rest of the space with swirleys and dots with a thicker line using Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner in Black. Whhaaa-laah!!

I am so excited for an upcoming collaboration with Liana and her Liana Paula jewelry. Check out her beautiful, ethereal jewelry that she makes all by hand on her Facebook page and website! She can make anything!
