TTN Eat, Drink, & Give Holiday Party and Donation Drive

What are the holidays without eating, drinking, and giving in style?

I wanted to put together an event, where friends would arrive dressed to the nines and more importantly, feel to the nines by giving back. So, I invited a few of my favorite local companies, close friends, and followers and found a beautiful venue. After some research, I found two local nonprofit organizations that I wanted to support: Brighter Bites and Star of Hope!

Brighter Bites supplies fresh fruit and vegetables and offers nutrition education to families at 41 different schools in Houston and other big cities in the U.S., including N.Y.C., D.C., and Dallas. Star of Hope provides homeless men, women, and their children structured programs that offer housing and help with finding education, employment, life management, and substance abuse recovery. Both organizations said they were in need of monetary donations. Non-perishable foods, gently used clothes, shoes, hygiene products, books, linens, or toys were also accepted by Star of Hope. Each person attending made a donation of their choice.
